Members of the Middles Reading group loved
Jess Vallance's addictive novel about Birdy and Bert. The claustrophobic nature of their friendship grew increasingly sinister and we were all taken aback by the twist at the end. A superb read and a great first novel for the group to kick-start their year of reading.
