Kids' Lit Quiz National Final
The Kimquestors visited Oxford on Friday to take part in the National Final of the Kids Lit Quiz. We managed to fit in a tour of some of the places of literary significance including Christ Church College's dining hall (Harry Potter) and the Bodleian Library before quizzing began. The power of reading
Frank Cottrell Boyce, the celebrity author at the National Kids' Lit Quiz Final on Friday, gave a truly inspirational speech before the teams did battle. The analogy of reading being like the effect of sunshine whose energy was released during the Industrial Revolution was very powerful.
