Kids' Lit Quiz
Another superb turn-out for the Central England heat of the Kids' Lit Quiz: 21 teams battled for the chance to get to the National Final in Coventry and the International Final in Auckland! Well done to Aylesbury Grammar School for capturing 1st and 2nd places and to Comberton Village College for securing 3rd. Kimbookworms and Kimquestors put up sterling performances winning book prizes along the way.

SLA Information Book of the Year
The School Library Association has just announced the results of the Information Book of the Year. The winner of the 12-16 year old category and the overall winner was "How to make a universe with 92 ingredients" by Adrian Dingle.

Carnegie Medal 2012 Longlist
The Carnegie Longlist was announced today. Lots of our favourites are there including Patrick Ness' A Monster Calls and David Almond's My name is Mina. The shortlist will be published on 27th March and the winner announced on 14th June.
